Chess Horse Training is a training program based out of Nonesuch Morgan Horse Farm in Stoneboro, Pennsylvania just off of I-79. This beautiful farm is a prime location for training with woods, pastures, and a quiet dirt road.I work for Carolyn Allison to train her wonderful horses and am looking to bring on 1-3 training horses over spring, summer, and fall of 2025. All training will be with full care board by experienced horse people. All horses must arrive in good health and with a negative coggins and all requested vaccinations in past 60 days.I work with everything from yearlings, colt starting, keeping broke horses in shape, and so on. I will be happy to show your horse at any of the shows we haul to.I intend to specialize in saddleseat, hunter, and western pleasure show horses, but I am happy to train you quality ranch/trail horses or rodeo mounts. I have had nothing but satisfied clients.
Standard Training
650/month
This includes high quality hay as well as standard feed. You will be billed for any vet, farrier, or bodywork. You can pay at any point during the month by cash or check. Training bill and other expenses will be emailed to you monthly.
Consignment
15% Sale + 300/month
This includes high quality hay as well as standard feed. You will be billed for any vet, farrier, or bodywork. You can pay at any point during the month by cash or check. Board and other expenses will be emailed to you monthly. 15% of sale price due once you receive payment from buyer. This can be combined with standard training, meaning 650/month + 15% of sale.
